Moise Kean could be set to have a medical on Wednesday with Everton, report Sky Italia on Tuesday lunchtime.
They say an agreement has been found with Juventus for the player’s transfer. The Turin club will receive €30m plus a potential further €10m in bonus payments, taking it to the €40m headline figure which has been widely reported.
Kean will be paid €3m a season, almost certainly after tax.
The Blues have been negotiating for the Italian striker for most of the summer but had struggled to find the right kind of formula.
A major stumbling block has been Juve’s determination to insert a buyback clause in the deal as they don’t want to lose Kean long-term.

Everton have been fighting against that, and it seems that the two clubs have found a way around the problem. Earlier this week it was reported they have offered to give Juventus first option on the striker in future and that’s backed up today.
Tuttosport today said Everton continued to insist on Kean and were negotiating with Juventus over the striker.
They confirmed the buyback clause has been an issue in the negotiations, so the first option clause is now an alternative.
Sky Italia simply say there ‘could be’ a preference for Juventus on a future transfer, although they’re not entirely sure how that would work.
