From Brazil: PSG’s Dani Alves waiting for Premier League offers

Brazilian outlet UOL today has an interesting story on the situation of right-back Daniel Alves at Paris Saint Germain.
After offering the player a one-year contract extension, the French club’s board is said to be angry over his wait to give a response. PSG’s board always seem to be angry, there’s nothing new in that.
Alves reportedly wants a deal of at least two years, and is also waiting to see if he gets an offer from a Premier League side.
According to UOL, the player believes he can get more stability at top English clubs. And even though there aren’t any offers yet, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United have all tried to get him before he signed for PSG in 2017.
The website recalls that during the negotiations, Alves even told Guardiola he would join City, but ended up moving to the French capital instead.

There’s no claim that any of those sides remain interested.
Even though PSG are said to be the player’s priority, it’s stated Alves was disappointed with the lack of options in the squad this season, since he had to play in several other positions. So the club’s project would also weigh on his decision.
