Fast idiot Braves fan gets leveled by security after jumping on field with no exit strategy

Some in baseball media will get all sanctimonious about fans running on the field, as if it’s their job to enforce that type of stuff. Not me. My patience for drunk dudes bolting across the outfield entirely depends on the mood and my situation.
And if I were an Atlanta Braves fan at SunTrust Park in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday, with my team comfortably ahead and game-time still well short of the three-hour mark, I have to think I’d be OK with some very fast fool showing off his speed like he’s auditioning to be the Freeze’s understudy.
This dude’s problem was that he had no plan:

Where are you even going? If your object is to touch home plate in a big-league park, then that’s understandable, but it was totally there for you and you blew it. Otherwise, making a beeline for the area around home is a terrible idea, because that’s the corner of the playing surface that is netted all around.
The TV broadcast cuts away, as TV broadcasts do, but you can tell Jeff Francoeur is extremely entertained by it and trying to play it cool with history’s worst poker face. And thanks to the wonders of baseball reddit, we can see what happened to the guy:

I didn't get much of the fan running onto the field, but I got the end!

Oh, yeah: Besides an exit strategy, the other thing you need to keep in mind when you run onto a baseball field is that a bunch of those security guards played high-school football and have been waiting decades for the opportunity to revisit their glory days.
