Blake Griffin leaves Clippers owner Steve Ballmer hanging before game

Blake Griffin took on the Los Angeles Clippers on the road Saturday for the first time since the team traded him to the Detroit Pistons about a year ago.
Before the afternoon matchup at STAPLES Center, Clippers owner Steve Ballmer was waiting on the sideline as Griffin and the Pistons warmed up, according to multiple reports.
And when the Detroit power forward called it quits and slowly started walking over to the sideline, he picked up the pace as he got closer to Ballmer, who was left with an empty had extended while Griffin jogged off the court.
Now the question is: Did Griffin purposely snub Ballmer or is it possible he just didn’t see his former team’s owner?
And if he did ignore Ballmer, does that mean Griffin is still holding a grudge against him and the Clippers — especially since he found out he was being traded on Twitter after being called a “Clipper for Life”— or, as FOX Sports’ caption suggests, has he embraced the city of Detroit’s underdog mentality? Maybe it’s a little of both.
