After Cibicki, Leeds United close to completing another exit, Whites approaching deal

On December 23rd, we covered claims from Sweden that Pawel Cibicki was on the verge of a loan move to Elfsborg.
The Leeds United owned player had spent the previous season with Norway’s Molde, and was all set to go out again. There was something of a delay, and then on Friday morning Aftonbladet reported the deal was almost done.
The Swedish season doesn’t start until March, and Elfsborg only start their preseason programme next week. Therefore taking Cibicki any earlier than now didn’t make a great deal of financial sense, especially if they were confident the deal was in hand.
Leeds United have now announce the exit to Elfsborg, and the club have a signing option once the loan ends.
The Championship club could be announcing another loan in the near future, with UDLasPalmas.net reporting Leeds United are closing in on finding a new home for Hadi Sacko.
Earlier this month, Victor Orta spoke to the Spanish media and said he’d heard no news about Sacko returning from Las Palmas early, but things have clearly moved quickly and in Spain the deal is expected soon.
