2019 PGA Championship: Preview, How to Watch PGA Champ Online, Tee Times, TV Schedule and Live Stream

The second major of the PGA season will be decided at Bethpage Black. This tournament has been moved up on the calendar as it used to feature as golf’s fourth and final major. This is the first time this course has hosted the PGA Championship, but not the first time it has hosted a major. In 2002 and 2009 the U.S. Open was played here. A full field of 156 players will be competing for the Wanamaker Trophy. Here’s how to watch this season’s second major.

The eyes of the sports world will be glued to Bethpage now that Tiger Woods has returned to the top of golf. After an 11-year drought, fans of the sport saw an all-too-familiar sight: A fist pump, a smile, a hug and a green jacket being placed on the shoulders of Tiger Woods. Tiger is back and so is the fever pitch that surrounds the sport when its king is prominent.
The four-time PGA Championship winner enters the week as the betting favorite to win his 16th career major and pull within two of Jack Nicklaus’ legendary record. Bethpage is a course Woods is very familiar with as he won the 2002 U.S. Open there and has historically played very at. After falling all the way to 1,199th ranked in the world during his injury layoff, Tiger can reclaim the No. 1 spot in the world golf rankings with a win and some favorable finishes of others in the Top 5. If he were to accomplish this, he’d become the oldest player ever to hold that position.
Of course, Tiger isn’t the only contender in the field. Defending champion Brooks Koepka has been grouped with Woods during the first two rounds and is a favorite to win it all. As is current world No. 1, Dustin Johnson. Both players were in the thick of a wild final day at Augusta and could also make some noise here.
